Ignition Faulters 1800 1973

hello there- these symptoms on the old points ignition could be bad condenser, weak coil which shorts when it gets hot, dirty loose battery terminal connections, cracked distributor cap(look for carbon tracks), burnt carboned rotor, a bad ignition or coil wire, wrong point gap, worn spark plug or wrong gap and last but not least too much cussing- try to use just the right amount. regards oldduke
