Vibration and urethane torque rod bushings 200

Hello all-
I hunted for any mention of unwanted changes after replacing torque rod bushing, so hopefully this isn't a repeat question for you all. Here's the problem: My OEM bushings were "ok" but on their way out. I replaced them with urethane ones (with shells, so still had to endure the press-in work). The moment the car was test driven, an insidious vibration at 30+ and 55-60 mph. Not a shaking/quaking vib, but an obnoxious humming/buzzing. It made the car feel like it was stuck in 3rd gear and not upshifting (auto). Has anyone experienced such a change associated with changing out torque-rod bushings? I've considered the possibility that I upset an equilibrium established over 10s of thousands of miles, but can't figure out how/where. (rear trailing arm bushings aren't great either....) Any thoughts?

Cheers! Bruce.
