Owning/Operating a 1970s Vintage 240 200 1978

I'm contemplating purchasing a very good condition late '70s vintage 240 and was just wondering what I should look out for. I've owned an '83, '92 and '93 240 in all three configurations (coupe, sedan, wagon). I understand there are some major differences, especially with the drive train, ignition and fuel injection, but is a '70s era 240 as serviceable as it's later brothers? I've done most jobs myself on the '92/'93, so I'm sure I could handle the earlier version. But, just wondering if parts availability is similar, and if there are any other concerns I should have about owning a 240 that's approximately 15 years older than the newest one I've maintained. Thanks~!
