I spoke too soon. Jr. and Volvo stranded at church 200

I spoke too soon. Jr. took the Volvo to church last night and right as he was pulling into the parking lot, the instrument cluster lights came on and flickered and the radio went off and he limped into a parking space.

While talking to Jr over the telephone, he found that the grounding wire broke off at the alternator. So I packed some tools and we re-attached it. Then jump started the car and it ran, but ran terrible like it did before the new cap, rotor, and plugs.

So after church we will try to swap in a new battery, do a better job on the alternator grounding wire, and verify the alternator is working.

So much for going fishing this afternoon...
