wet fuel pump relay 200 1988

Hello all,

been having starting issues when the tempeture is below freezing. mother day wouldn't start at all. pulled fuel pump relay from 1989 sedan and '88 wagon started right up. opened up bad relay and rusty water came out. A: water appears to be coming in from wiper area after motor change. B: can relay be cleaned/repaired Couple of pics i took this morning. contact cleaner took care of the rust on part of relay. any advice for green crud in second pic Second car wouldn't fire after spraying with cleaner and drying
