From Turbobricks. I was actually looking for comments about the sub frame bolts which I've read can loosen. 55 ft/lbs for those when torqueing.

notorious "clunk" generators:
1) sway bars / mounts / ends
2) ball joints
3) wheel bearings / calliper mount bolts
4) upper strut mounts / bearings
5) tie rod ends (inner and outer
6) loose steering rack
7) four big-assed BOLTS that live on the frame swells both sides of the
engine (these are the SUBFRAME MOUNT BOLTS)..when they get loose
you get CLUNKS
