hi volvo tire sages- recent comparison shopping does show that sams is the best deal for tires. beats 5 other chain stores i have checked. last year got one hell of a deal on michelin defenders. seems less than 70 complete for the tire is good . 20 per tire for all the junk fees(stems, balance, mount, disposal , free rotating and flat repair) is reasonable. asked hwy tire chain to match the sams deal and was told sams defender michelins are a cheaper quality than their defender michelins. that sounded like bullkweet . called michelin office about that in sc and was told that is complete kweet. customer rep there also modified the word kweet with an adverb beginning with f. censored that word out of respect for the feelings of my fellow sages here. have found though that the 185 tire is no longer available for 240s but the 195 is. have used that one but it makes the speed slightly inaccurate( says 66 mph when actual speed is 63). regards oldduke
