Torque Rod Question 200 1991

On my 1991 240 wagon 5speed, I hydraulically pressed out all four OEM rubber torque rod bushings uneventfully. The the new aftermarket OEM rubber bushings pressed in well on the left torque rod. The OEM rubber bushings just drop in on the right torque rod. They actually appear loose and fall out. Why is this? It almost appears as if the diameter of the right torque rod is to large. All four bushings are identical. When I bolt the left torque rod back in place it is firm. The right torque rod can move side to side when bolted in place. This does not seem right. Or will the right torque rod sit firm in place when I put the car back on the ground? Or do I just have a worn out torque rod needing replacement? Thank you for any insight.
