'69 145 - Thinking about converting TO a BW35 140-160 1969

As most people consider the conversion the other way there are often complete sets of the parts going begging. The BW35 is "OK" but saps the power a lot. A conversion to AW70/71 gives you a an extra OD gear which makes for a much better drive. Need an adaptor plate or a cut 'n shut on the original and later type of bell housings. A friend has his Amazon wagon converted with an adaptor and likes the much better, quieter, cruising performance. Needs a bit of expertise though.
