Carburetor conversion, final 200 1981

Finally completed carburetor conversion referenced earlier, utilizing marine manifold and Carter single barrel YF carburetor (Holley and similar single-barrel carbs would fit, but zinc bodied carbs seem to have issues with ethanol fuel--this Carter model has a cast iron body.
Generic Delco fuel pump is now located next to the fuel tank in place of the Bosch FI pump. I found that the in-tank pump was also needed to provide sufficient pressure through the FI filter.
Getting used to the manual choke is interesting after 50 plus years of auto chokes and FI systems. Seems that the cast iron carb body increases warmup time, after which I have much more power than the old FI system--the engine is original and near spec re: compression, etc.
A flex tube gets air through the original air filter into the carb throat--close, but works.
Thanks to those with constructive comments on my conversion. Meanwhile, since the carb conversion took me entirely too long, I acquired a later model Volvo in an estate sale, so need a new home for the '81, a 245 DL w/automatic, located in southern New Mexico.
Pics I took to add to this message wound up in an unknown file. Will appear later.
