Engine stumbles on first acceleration after start up 200 1983

Thank you so much for the reply!

I cleaned the throttle body not too long ago, but I will take another look and see how clean it is now.

It is LH something, 1 or 2, but pre LH 2.2

The TPS and IAC give me a good direction to look into.

I Haven't had a very full understanding of how these components work and how they effect drivability. So it is easy for me to be intiminated away from fiddling with them.

Can the IAC be cleaned? Is taking it out and blasting it with carb cleaner a bad idea?

I'll do a bit of research on how they SHOULD be working and check them out this weekend, the FPR too.

Thanks!

I'll report back here after I dig into it.
