warm engine, high idle on start up 120-130 1966

as an addendum to this even new valves in the float chamber is don't always work at one point I had to put the old valve saying because my new valves just refused to set properly even with their new seats. as a result it was running rich especially at idle,gas was just kind of flowing in. That being said I usually find the SUs don't care too much about float height, more about the needle valves seating well for good idle etc...
