Any new cars like the 240

Hi,

This is not a real brickboard question, but I want your opinions. I think the Volvo 200 (and 100, and 1800 etc) is the best car ever designed. It did not waste it's time on being stylish like a new pair of shoes at the expense of safety, comfort, longevity, easy maintenance etc. like every other car out there does. I think a perfectly running "brick" with no rust or dents can never be "out of style". The last one was 1993. That said, I love my stick shift RWD, almost vertical windows, lots of glass so I don't run over a kid near the car Volvo.

Right now I need a new car, not good used, but brand new (please don't ask why). What is the closest 2015 car out there that is like my 1993 std shift, RWD lots of glass, and almost vertical glass like my Volvo? I don't like the new Volvos, I might as well have a Honda or a Toyoto. I did look at the Toyoto Tacoma truck which is 5 spd RWD, easy to crawl under, feels like my 240, but it's a truck! Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks guys!
