Various windshield questions 120-130

Danny,

It is so strange you post about this subject as I am about to find out.

I am in the middle of a sale to a customer that includes a front 122 windshield and a VP supplied 657440 to be installed on a 122.

I am also skeptical the gasket will fit, but VP insists it will work.

When I get the seal which is scheduled for delivery later TODAY, I will attempt to install it on a windshield to verify the fit.

FYI, your inquiry caused me to discover that Skandix shows the correct Volvo part number for the seal without trim for a 122, 660864.

Volvo updated the part numbers for the windshields so both the numbers are correct. Volvo stills sells the front windshield in both clear and tinted using updated numbers 1213297 for clear and 1237299 for tinted.

FYI, VP likes to use the older part numbers for some of their parts. I believe this is because they use original Volvo parts catalogs for reference.
