Still, though, it begs the question.

How much would you pay for a NEW 2017 Volvo 240?

Imagine it as you looked at new Volvo 240s at dealerships in 1993. The final year.

That was my goal. I finally got a 1991 Volvo 240 in June 1999.

Before was a 1979 (Made in Sweden) Volvo 242 GT I bought on 22 September 1989.

And the rest of all automakers, globally, produce overpriced junk basted in sparkly bling and technical gadgets. As you see in Volvo dealerships now.

I'd be all too pleased to buy a NEW Volvo 240.

How much is that? 40k? 45K? If these were 18-22K$ US in 1993 new, how much for that as a model year 2017 Volvo 240?

'Cause I prolly ain't ever buyin' a used AWD Volvo. Not ever. Used FWD strictly? Well, we'll see.
