Head gasket replacement problems 900

I had someone replace the head gasket on my trusty 1992 960. Now that it is done it will not run, Cylinders number 4 and 6 no spark. I checked this by feeling no heat on exh. manifold and confirmed with a test plug and coil. These engines don't like being 4 cylinders. Any ideas what to check next.
