94 940 dome light 900

Chasing down little bits and nits on the new (to me) 940 I bought last fall.

The dome light unit was shorting out #5 and had to be removed to get the door chime, antenna, etc to work. I have installed a new light unit using the little connectors and terminal block from Volvo. PITA, but got through that.

No short in #5 now and the lights work, but when I set the main switch to the position allowing for the light to come on when the doors are opened, it comes on and stays on.

Anyone traveled this road and care to offer hints?

Thanks

Zimm
