good timing or not 120-130

The timing lights that allow you to dial in advance or retard are very handy when you work on lots of different cars. Many engines do not include a scale as the redlocks do - they may just have a line in the pulley and the front cover. Otherwise, as riverbend wrote, a simple inductive light is plenty sufficient and like his--my Craftsmen light is decades old. -- Dave
