a few specific questions on 240s 92 245

A follow-up comment on the airbag question. The orange sensor connector is underneath the driver's side carpeting near the console. Be sure and disconnect it and the battery for at least 1/2 hour before working on anything(!) near the steering wheel or driver's seat.

Personally, I wouldn't mess at all with the airbag. It is 23 years old. If it works it works. 240's were pretty darn safe even before Volvo starting installing them in 240's in 1990. The airbag is an afterthought. The car was designed to be extremely safe without them. That's my take and I stand by it...:)
