What to do with my 245? 200 1986

Well, we are leaving Texas in a couple of weeks and I am trying to decide what to do with the old and faithful 245 that I've had for 12 years. I just changed the fuel pumps, timing belt, water pump, and front seals. It has the IPD rear towing springs and decent tires on 88 760 wheels. The problem is that I don't want to pay the gas to tow it 1200 miles behind the truck, and I don't want to sell it to someone that will just junk it anyway at the first indication of problems. (There are no Volvo folks in this remote area)

I am debating about stopping in Forth Worth and selling it to the Pull-a-Part up there on the way through or dragging it back to Kentucky and driving it until I find someone that needs a good running gear for a project car. Any thoughts appreciated.

Regards,
