thanks for explaining 'nmi'. heres my take on my issue. i like my old car. i want to keep it. i now have a newer car to use as a daily driver, so i have the luxury of just tinkering with the old car. it may not be the computer, but as the computer is original, it still wont hurt to change it just for the fun of it. ive also changed out a bunch of other stuff. some helped, some didnt. but thats my toy. it drives perfectly fine except for that one issue. if you have some constructive advice on how to solve my problem, i will be happy to consider it. if all you're going to do is criticise me with NMI tags, stop wasting your time and effort. i do not feel criticised.
