Rusting Fuel Pipes 900

I was under my 95 944 today and found that the salt belt corrosion has taken a big toll on my fuel pipes from the tank to the engine. Looks like they'll need a total replacement. Has anyone done this? I suspect that I am better off having the shop do the job on a lift instead of me under the car on jackstands.
