Stubby screwdriver for ignition switch replacement 200 1993

Soon as my new switch arrives in the mail I'm gonna look forward to installing via the instrument cluster removal method.
Quick question: will 1-1/4" stubby slotted screwdriver fit in that tight space to remove the slotted screws? I went looking at Lowe's for shortest one and that was the length they had. At least one post so read somewhere mentioned a 1" screwdriver but not sure I can find one that size and I hate idea of getting car all apart then having to run out for another tool. Seems like a great application for Philips head new screw swap too...
