Gearbox problem M41 140-160

Try re-installing the old 3/4 locating keys.

The new ones Volvo sells are now made in China and are no good.

My brother installed a set of the new ones and 3/4 shifting on the bench became very difficult.

Pulled the new made in China 3/4 locating keys and observed significant wear on them.

Since I like to have plenty of spares for my customers, I still had new ones from the old batch and my brother installed them and the transmission shifted fine afterwards.

FYI, I don't automatically regard a part made in China as bad, but in this case we tried to use it and the results were not acceptable. BTW, I know the parts were made in China because the label on the bag identified the country of origin and originally they were made in Europe.
