Hi Brickboard Members,

My latest dilemna is the SRS light which does not de-energize and turn off. I have tried to reset it using the procedure involving grounding the terminal behind the SRS blank on the console to no avail.

According to what I've read (and not on the BB cause the search function is defunct) I should clean the contacts at the yellow connector along the transmission tunnel.

Would someone kindly provide some more detail as to where along the transmission tunnel this connector is. Do I remove any of the seats, etc.

If you have any other suggestions for an SRS light that does not appear to reset, I would be most appreciative. I hate the idea of putting tape over the light, or removing the bulb.
