Dwell angle and clutch question 444-544 1960

If the clutch is all that is to be serviced, I pull the transmission, but I have a lift.

If you have any reason to work on the motor, like replacing the rear crankshaft seal, you would be better off pulling the engine and transmission.

Even though we have an engine tilter for our engine hoist, we don't use it and opt to remove the transmission before pulling the engine in this case.
