B18 and B20 water pumps are the same now. There used to be a version for the later B20s that had an extended snout for a fan clutch.

I strongly recommend against using a Gates thermostat as in my experience they aren't made correctly. The disc on the bottom doesn't properly seal against the tube inside the head.

180° is a bit warm for a carbureted motor.

I sell 165° thermostat kits that come with the correct seal. If you feel that winter driving will require a warmer thermostat, I have those too.

However, I didn't have a problem with my B20 with the colder thermostat the time I spent an extended period in Jackson Hole, WY when there was a couple of weeks while I was there when it didn't get above 32°.
