940 Turbo died on way home 900 1993

A couple of months ago I posted on here my daughters 940 Turbo died. I replaced the crank sensor and it seemed to cure the problem.Last night I was out with my daughter and it died on the road, restarted after 5 minutes only to do it again two times. I took over driving and got right on the car, accelerating hard. I was able to get it the 4 miles home. Now I have no trouble codes, the new sensor still looks okay. My daughter is ready to get rid of this car and to be honest I can't blame her, since we got home from Florida and she purchased it from my older daughter it has been nothing but problems. The only thing I noticed on the way home is the the temp gauge was flickering wildly, the ground to the cluster is good I checked that when I had speedo problems.
