Oil leak 200 1993

My 93 240 4 cylinder 440,000 km has a oil leak on the left hand side of the engine under the intake manifold. I cleaned the engine and it looks like its leaking from the head gasket area behind the black breather box its hard to see.
Oil is running down the side of the block. Is it common for these cars to leak oil from the head over time.
