AC Condenser Fan

I have a 1993 Volvo 240 which is equipped with an AC Condenser Fan. The fan is supposed to operate when the AC Compressor is running... Unfortunately, it is not. I disconnected the power wiring connector from the wiring harness and cleaned the connector, (thinking that maybe corrosion was causing a bad contact). After re-connection, the fan still did not work. Does anyone know if there is a switch for this fan that may be malfunctioning?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
