changed spark plugs/wires - engine shake at idle - manifold exhaust leak? 200

Hello,

Just changed the spark plugs and wires on my 1990 240 DL. Now, at idle, the engine shakes and there is a sound that seems to be coming from near the exhaust manifold.

Seems fine while driving but then will start to get shaky again at idle with the odd "gasp-like" sound, like it might stall but doesn't.

Could this be something with the new plugs. I double checked the connections. Or, could the new plugs contributed to amplifying an exhaust manifold gasket leak?

I actually have a new set of gasket. Easy repair?

Any thoughts appreciated,

NFL soon
