Intermittent Acceleration Problem 900 1993

Hi,

For safety nothing can be left to chance! You might need to accelerate to safety sometimes. If this is the mechanic's car I think he'll spend nights and days chasing the problem!

For a turbo car it could be a collapsed hose during acceleration. BTW I don't have turbo.

In chasing intermittent issues you'd need persistence. Keep a log. Is there any particular pattern according to time/who's driving/etc? Things happen for a reason or something is not happening according to design.

I was persistent in finding the source of intermittent engine rattling and it took me about a year later to find a socket lodged inside the recess of the left engine mount!

Keep us posted!

Regards,
Amarin.
