Seatbelt light won't turn off 200 1991

Flickered a bit, now both the dash light and the light behind the center console are glowing constantly. Removed the clips from the seatbelt stalks, and could not find any sign of a short. They look identical - no obvious wear, but I was working by flashlight - it's dark out there.

Assuming the contacts are bad - is there a way to repair them? Driver side has red, gray, and black wires, passenger side has green, gray, and black. If I wanted to simply bypass both contacts, how would I wire them both?

Besides pulling the bulbs, any other ideas? Thanks!
