Slow moving wipers with new motor 200 1985

I recently installed a new Ronak wiper motor on my '85 245. I works through all its speed settings, intermittent, slow and fast. My problem is that the slow is really slow and the fast speed is really wimpy. I've had quite a few 240's over the years and all of them have had nice and no issue wiper motors like this one is having. Ground strap is secure and the wiper stalk ground wire is also in good position. Any suggestions where to start looking to speed things up? Thanks.
