ABS light on Speedometer does not function... 200 1992

1. remove the axle speed sensor connector
2. remove cluster with - battery terminal OFF FIRST
3. disconnect the L connector at back of cluster

get some long wires to use with your voltmeter

4. test continuity between green/white on L connector and speed sensor connector
5. same for black wire

if you have continuity the problem is in the cluster or speedo

make sure the red/white tack white has not been inadvertantly connected tot he cluster sans tach. if it has you have cooked your speedo and will to replace it and maybe even your cluster board

as for the abs. you likely have metal detritus attached to the abs sensor magnet in the wheel hub which now needs a good wipe
