In tank fuel pump...alternative aplication

Main reason...my truck is used as a truck/mobile dumpster/etc 90% of the year (14 mpg is not a daily driver). Those tanks weigh a TON (OK about about 250#'s) and take up a lot of usable space...I bought an 8' bed because I use 8' of bed a lot. Having one of those would require unloading it after each race and storing it.

Secondary reason is price. Since this tank is only transported full about 15 miles and is vented when empty, a drum is relatively safe...gasoline is still sold by the drum by the way but professional delivery is mandatory. This is the normal way one obtains 97 Octane or greater fuel but more mundane mixes can be ordered.

Unless there are injuries involved or it takes out the trailer...$600-1000 is about the value of my truck (if you ignore the towing kit) so likely not 10 times as much in a fire.
