Engine Stalls; Error Codes Pulled 900 1994

Hi all,

My son was driving our '94 945 (150K mi) home when he had a loss of power and stalling. I went and checked it; it is able to crawl along at idle but when you gently try to accelerate, the engine stumbles (doesn't stall if you lift foot off the gas in time). Luckily we were close enough to crawl home.

Check Engine light is also on, so I pulled codes.

Test mode 1, Socket 2: 1-2-1 and 3-2-2. (Faulty signal to/from AMM; AMM wire burn-off signal absent or faulty.

I am pretty sure I have the LH2.4 fuel injection, so I'm not sure I should have even pulled codes from Socket 6. I checked for codes anyway and got these:

Socket 6: 2-2-4 and 2-1-4. (RPM sensor intermittent; ECT sensor faulty).

Any advice on next steps? If bad AMM I will set out to check the cable and connection, although I don't know where it is.

Thanks.
