Engine quits when warm at idle 1800 1972

My 72 ES engine quits at idle when warm. The present idle is set at 750rpm and is ok when cold. When it is warm and I come to a stop sign, the idle falls of and the engine quits! The car has air-conditioning but this happens when the AC is OFF. I guess I could increase the idle to 1000RPM but that doesn't solve my problem. Any thoughts? Thanks
P.S. Where does one set the idle speed? I can't find it in the manual.
