High-pitched sound 200

'93 240 Auto.

A high-pitched sound comes from the front (I think) of the vehicle above 50MPH. It increases in intensity as vehicle speed is increased. It seems proportional to speed and not to engine speed or transmission activity. Could it be a front wheel bearing or something. It started happening after tires were inflated to proper pressure after being under inflated if that matters.
