Volvo 760 Wagon Shifts hard from 1-2 & 2-3 700 1989

I have a Volvo 760 Wagon with only 130K. Cosmetically the car is beautiful.
the transmission Shifts very hard from 1-2 & 2-3.

Recently I put an new air mass meter on it, bilstein struts, new starter motor, rebuilt ecu, all new front suspension.

Yesterday I brought it to a transmission that won't fix valve body but won't to replacement the whole transmission for $4000 (fluid is clean and kick down cable is not stuck)

It is a pain to drive.

Am I mad at Aisin Warner

Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem?
