ABS rear end speed signal problem 200 1993

I'm not sure where the splice is on a 93, either. But I'd be really surprised if you documented that as the root of the trouble. Are you absolutely certain it isn't a fault in the wiring between the differential and the tamper-evident box with the splice just above?

The wire chosen for that has indeed been the root of much Volvo evil, as a result of its silicone insulation or its 241 strand conductors. Have another look at the back end of the car before you start tearing the dash harness apart.
