I think Hawkeye is asking about the value of the '73 164. They make great road cars but are hard to sell. You have to really like them to put up with the generally poor gas mileage. An automatic version will return 15-18 mpg with careful driving--a stickshift maybe up to 20-21. It's hard not to like the ample torque and smoothness of the straight six though. -- Dave
