is it my ignition switch 200

I replaced the ignition switch on my wifes 1992 240. Still no start or crank. I bypassed the neutral safety switch and it would crank, but not start. If I use a remote starter hooked to the solenoid with the neutral safety switch bypassed it will start and run. No voltage to the solenoid when the ignition switch is used. I did try to safe a buck and used a used ignition switch. ideas? THanks in advance
