Two rear brake questions 200 1987

1) Got some reman calipers from FCP Groton. They came with two copper washers in the box. Anyone know what these are for? My guess is the only possibility for two bolts - the caliper mounting bolts - but there weren't any on there before.

2) I also bought some e-brake shoes and planned on replacing them while i was there. These shoes were replaced about 15 years ago (the last time I replaced discs). Should I bother replacing them this time? I have a feeling I'll suck it up and put the new ones on, but not doing it sounds so much easier.
