super-flexible wire for harness repair ?? 900

I just re-wired the tailgate on my '93 940 wagon, BUT the stranded wire I got at the auto parts house is not as flexible as the OEM Volvo wire, which has a higher strand count.
The harness makes some pretty tight turns around the tailgate hinge and into the cabin - and flexes as the tailgate closes.

Do any of you good folks have a source for 12-18g tinned super-flexible wire in 6-8foot lengths, in colors?
