Adjusting 940 gear linkage..could be faulty NSS too 900

Dear Amarin,

Hope you're well. Thank you for the detailed, illustrated guidance. There's no "slop" in the shifter. That, though, does not rule out a slight loosening of the nuts on the shifter linkage, which loosening might allow enough movement that put the shift-lock mechanism "out-of-adjustment". I'll check that.

I thought a micro-switch malfunction a more likely source of the failure to crank. As, though replacing the micro-switch is time-consuming, I'll inspect the linkage, to see if that's the source of the "no start" problem.
