Got lazy, because I didn't trust the in situ approach and wasn't sure what would go inside the brake booster if I did that. So I decided to only DOT 5 the clutch circuit. One reason was that I got responses from Volvo Amazon on FaceBook, that said silicone leaking on brake pads or shoes makes them unusable, since the silicone is impossible to remove and will not burn off the pads like DOT3 would. Just need to keep an eye on fluid levels and be sure I investigate any losses immediately. Thanks for your response.
