1998 S90 Transmission Fluid S90-V90

I had a near immediate response from three fellows on here about my rear shock situation, I am impressed and very thankful. I figured the job would be relatively simple and will likely do it myself.

My car has 141,000 miles on it and I am wondering if the transmission should be serviced. I have had since about 100,000 and am unsure if it ever had such a service. What is entailed? I am not aware of any slippage, the tranny works fine as far as I know. So fluid would be drained and replaced. Any recommendations or caveats? Should I go with synthetic? Is there a screen or any kind of filter to replace? If someone has done it, I'd appreciate a few pointers...I have a fairly decent metric hand tool selection and floor jacks as well. Thanks! Doug
