I did catch Wayne Carlino drooling over that perfect 544.Plastic still on door panels and seats. Never heard a B18 purr as smoothly as this one.

There was an article in Hemming's Classics, I believe,emailed my way a month or so ago. This Volvo and a few other models are owned by a retired Volvo dealer up east, and they were left over, so he he moved them home and kept the cars!! The article mentioned a 122 wagon ,same, new, present owner has 2500 miles on it now!!! Gents,if Wayne C. couldn't close the deal, that 544 is worth big $$.

Mr. Carlino, on an older episode, drove and purchased a very special '96 960 Volvo wagon, built for Paul Newman. This is the ultimate sleeper w/ a Kenne-Bell supercharged, built small block Ford w/ 5- speed, including suspension mods(Google this). Newman talked David Letterman into building one not as radical. He still has his, was on Cars and coffee w/ Jerry Seinfeld, an 1800 also an episode, at crackle.com.

I guess the surprises are still out there!!!
