re: 87 245 auto - rough idle, does not stall & reduced power 200 1987

Hi All,

Here is my next problem. :) When it's cold out below 30, the car runs rough but the engine doesn't stall or die. It feels like the car doesn't have power. I can take out the car on the highway but it runs really slow.

A. Tuned up was done 25,000 miles ago. Maybe it's time???
B. Without testing the battery, I think it's good. the car starts without a problem.
C.My CAT is loose, I can hear it, it was like that for past 2 years. Did it clogged partially? I didn't see my CAT was glowing red. I did hit with a hammer few times but the rough idle didn't change.
D. The ground points were cleaned last summer.
E. The main & in-tank fuel pumps runs. The main fuel filter was changed last summer along with a new check valve.
F. the fuel pressure regulator doesn't smell gas and replaced 65,000 miles ago.
G. Rolled all the fuses & swapped fuel relay, nothing changed.
H. With the AMM unplugged, the car dies.

As always, thank you.
